Best 5 Podcasts for Holistic Health & Well-Being

If you’re looking for ways to deepen your understanding of holistic health, well-being, and personal growth, podcasts are one of the easiest and very impactful tools available. Whether you’re drawn to spirituality, neuroscience, mindfulness, or breathwork, the right conversations can shift your perspective and give you insights that truly stick.

I’ve put together a list of five podcasts that have been a game- changer for me—ones I return to for inspiration and knowledge.

Let’s dive in!

Ram Dass here and now podcast

1. Ram Dass Here and Now

220+ episodes
Spirituality, consciousness, love, and transformation

As mentioned in my previous post, Ram Dass and his teachings are a source of inspiration for me and a big part of how I perceive the world. His real name was Richard Alpert, and he started out as a Harvard psychologist. But when traditional education reached its limits in explaining the depths of the human mind, he turned to psychedelics, researching them alongside Timothy Leary. That exploration eventually led him to India.

Many episodes of this podcast portray those experiences and the shifts he went through. His way of speaking is unique—full of humor, honesty, and wisdom that hits exactly where it needs to.

This podcast is a collection of his old lectures, and every single one is impactful. But I always skip the host’s intro, which is oftentimes useless and too long.

My favorite episodes: Honestly—all of them.

On purpose, Jay Shetty podcast

2. On Purpose with Jay Shetty

400+ episodes
Mindfulness, psychology, relationships, personal growth

Jay Shetty has one of the most interesting life shifts. He studied finance, but instead of heading into the corporate world, he became a monk. After years of living in meditation and service, he stepped back into modern life and found a way to translate those teachings into something accessible.

His podcast is a mix of solo episodes and interviews with some of the most interesting guests in wellness, psychology, and self-development. What I love about him is how he asks questions—he always gets something fresh out of people, even on topics I thought I had already explored.

My favorite episodes:

  • "3 Effective Ways to Turn Your Life Around and Why Continuous Learning is Necessary for Personal Growth" with Novak Djokovic

  • "Chris Paul ON: How to Create Habits for Discipline and Consistency and Empowering Yourself Through Forgiveness for Healing"

  • "Gabor Maté: Why Trauma Shows Up as Guilt, Fear, and Shame and How to Untrap Yourself from the Past"

  • "Esther Perel: The 1 Secret to Know If Your Chemistry Will Last and Why You Are Addicted to Your Ex"

  • "7 Strategies to Stop Getting Drained by Your Problems and Focus on Possibilities"

Aubrey Marcus podcast

3. Aubrey Marcus Podcast

400+ episodes
Spirituality, psychedelics, masculinity, self-mastery

Aubrey Marcus speaks his mind and dives into topics that a lot of people avoid. If you’re looking for deep, raw conversations on spirituality, relationships, and the integration of psychedelic experiences, this is a podcast worth listening to.

That being said, I personally prefer his older episodes (1-2 years ago). His recent content has already felt a bit too woo-woo for me, but those earlier interviews are great!

My favorite episodes:

  • "Decoding Dune: A Revelatory Exploration" with Dr. Marc Gafni

  • "From Hell to Love: The Psychonaut's Way" with Jim Fadiman

  • "Rewriting the Story of Masculinity and Femininity" with Dr. Kelly Brogan

  • "Medicine in a More Beautiful World" with Dr. Zach Bush

  • "Inhale Love, Exhale Pain" with Lukis Mac and Helle Weston

the Rich roll podcast

4. The Rich Roll Podcast

800+ episodes
Wellness, endurance, consciousness, personal transformation

Rich Roll has lived through massive transformation. He went from struggling with addiction to becoming an ultra-endurance athlete, and his podcast is full of long, in- depth conversations with people who have pushed through their own limitations.

I was recommended this podcast recently, but it has been incredibly impactful. The way Rich explains things and connects everything to a bigger holistic perspective just makes sense.

My favorite episodes:

  • "Life After Free Solo: Alex Honnold on Risk Post-Kids, Transcending Fear, Parenting, The Devil's Climb, and More"

  • "Wasfia Nazreen on Spirituality of Climbing The Seven Summits" (This episode was deeply emotional and impactful for me.)

  • "Our Greatest Power is Love: Julie Piatt on Transformation, Shedding Beliefs, Inner Magic, and Why Being is the Greatest State of Awareness"

Huberman Lab podcast

5. Huberman Lab

100+ episodes
Neuroscience, health, breathwork, and scientific perspectives on wellness

I hesitated to include Andrew Huberman on this list. After revelations about his relationships with multiple women and the way he handled the situation—avoiding accountability and never making a true statement—I lost respect for him and stopped listening to his content.

But I have to say, his earlier episodes were some of the most useful sources for integrating science with holistic practices and deepening my understanding.

My favorite episodes:

  • "The Science of Creativity and How to Enhance Creative Innovation"

  • "Dr. Nolan Williams: Psychedelics and Neurostimulation for Brain Rewiring"

  • "Understand and Improve Memory Using Science-Based Tools"

  • "How Psilocybin Can Rewire Our Brain, Its Therapeutic Benefits, and Its Risks"

  • "Dr. Sam Harris: Using Meditation to Focus, View Consciousness, and Expand Your Mind"

  • "Dr. Chris Palmer: Diet and Nutrition for Mental Health"
